Advent in Zagreb has never been richer and more beautiful, and this year – it’s magical too.
The enchantment at this year’s Advent Fuliranje is brought to you by “Here Be Dragons”, which, in collaboration with HBO GO has just opened its doors and turned Strossmayer Square into a fantasy location.
This winter, Zagreb’s locals and visitors to the city will have the opportunity to be part of a magical experience for all ages. The enchanted city of “Here Be Dragons” is a place for socialising and also boasts an interactive fan shop.
In addition to the various workshops, reading rooms, and accompanying programs, you’ll be able to find licensed products from a variety of popular movies, video games and serials, such as Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc, so fans of fantasy can find a variety of magic wands, wizards’ cloaks, sweets, Slytherin and Gryffindor T-shirts, 3D cups, jewellery and similar collectors’ items that are an indispensable part of the movies, series and books of the world of fantasy.
“Here Be Dragons” announces the opening of fantasy shop of the same name in Croatia, which is set to open at the end of Advent in the center of Zagreb.
Throughout the duration of Advent, “Here Be Dragons” will bring a series of activities for both big and small children in the organisation members of Harry Potter’s “Ministry of Magic Croatia”.
Visitors will be able to participate in sorting ceremonies, learn how to prepare magical drinks, how to write runes, learn to draw and create monstrous beasts, and children will be able to take part in a black magic defense workshop in which they’ll learn how to properly defend themselves from peer violence.
With the enjoyment of an entirely new adventurous experience, “Here Be Dragons” will also offer themed drinks and sweets for both kids and adults.
The Gate of the Enchanted City on Strossmayer Square has been opened with the support of HBO GO. HBO GO is an online streaming video service that lets you watch the best bands, hit movies and cartoons for the youngest members of the family.
