You’ve probably seen groups of people gliding through the city on their Segways, but did you know that they’re actually on a tourist tour?
Segway city tour Zagreb is the first Segway® PT attraction in our country and this is its 11th year in Zagreb. After receiving 5 certificates of excellence, the tour made it to Tripadvisor’s Hall of Hame.
If you’re worried about mastering riding a Segway, don’t worry – they are suitable for everyone aged 13 to 80, even for guests with lighter physical disabilities. Most guests master the basic riding skills within the first ten minutes of the tour.
There are four tours, and they start from the Westin and Esplanade hotels:
- The Basic Ride: There are departures upon request every day from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The tour takes 50 minutes to finish, costs €33 and you get to see one part of the Lenuci’s Horseshoe up to Ban Jelačić Sqare.
- All Around Tour: This tour includes sights such as Ribnjak park, Kaptol, Main square, Stone gate and St. Mark’s Square, excluding Mirogoj cemetery. There are daily departures upon request, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and it’s a longer tour (135-150 min), so it costs €55.
- Zagreb Leisure Tour: During this 11-kilometre ride you get to visit Zagreb Lower and Upper Town including all popular locations and sights together with a visit to famous Mirogoj cemetery. There are daily departures upon request, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., the tour costs €65 and it takes 165-180 min to finish.
- Zagreb Nightflight Tour: This is a nocturnal summer guided service, available July 1 – September 30. There are daily departures every day at 8 p.m., the tour is 90-100 min long and it costs €60.
There is also an after ride option of going to lunch/dinner to restaurants Stari Fijaker or Agava, with menu options ranging from €16 to €35.
