The district of Sesvete and its 90,000 inhabitants is the safest, statistics show.

Although the police station in Sesvete is small and it needs more officers, the figures show that it does a great job with keeping its inhabitants safe.

According to the data, the number of all crimes committed in Sesvete area in the previous year was 794, and in 2015 there were 901, which means that there was a 12% decrease, with an 8.4% increase in the number of resolved cases (43.5% in 2015, in contrast to 51.9% in 2016).

The most problematic parts of the city are Trešnjevka and Novi Zagreb. There were 2,294 criminal offences in Trešnjevka, and in 2,008 in Novi Zagreb, but the figures are lower than in 2015.
