Blogger Megan Starr picks her Top 6 colourful and Instagram-worthy cafes in Zagreb!
We’ve already told you where you can get the best coffee in the city here, but we live in a digital age, so you probably want to snap some photos while you’re there, right?
Cue Megan Starr, “a Virginia girl living in Europe who loves to travel and eat,” who spent two weeks in Zagreb and went on an Instagram-worthy café quest that resulted in some great and very colourful photos.
“…I do know that Zagreb is a mecca for cool and hip establishments and I was determined to see as many as I could during my two weeks there,” Megan writes.
She starts with Korica (Preradovićeva 39), a brilliant bakery and a café that she stumbled upon by accident. She also liked Cogito (Varšavska 11), and I must say I agree with her, especially because it also happens to be one of the best cups of coffee in town. Botaničar (Trg Marka Marulića 6), a quirky, minimalist, and very chill café and bar next to the Botanical Gardens is next, followed by Jutro (Vlaška 45) and Kaptol Boutique Cinema (Nova Ves 17), and ending with Najgora kava u gradu (Sestara Baković 3), which translates as “the worst coffee in town,” which it definitely is not.
