We all love sipping our coffees and catching up with friends at špica on Saturdays, but sometimes you want to change the scenerey, get away from the crowd and the asphalt and escape to a greener and quieter place.
How lucky are we to have just the place for it right in the city?
Maksimir Park, one of the 14 most beautiful parks in Europe, will be the location where Zagreb Picnic will take place starting this Saturday, May 20, and continuing throughout the summer.
Every Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., you’ll have a chance to sit down, grab a snack, enjoy lounge music, your children will be able to attend various programmes and you’ll have fun participating in games yourself, or take a book from the open-air library, all that for free!
The picnic will be cancelled in case of rain, but, other than that, get your baskets ready and see you on the meadow next to the second lake!
