“Should I Stay or Should I Go?” Business Conference on Emigration of Young People

Updated on:

Emigration of young people has been a burning issue in Croatia for a few years now – an estimated 80,000 people emigrated from Croatia in 2016 and some statistics say that the population of Croatia could drop to 3 million in the next 10 years.

It’s not easy to stay when you struggle with finding work, but it’s not easy to leave everything behind either, so studentski.hr  is organising a business conference called “Should I Stay or Should I Go?” next weekend. All the tickets have already been sold out, so it’s easy to see that young people really do think about emigrating.

The conference will include lectures, inspirational stories and useful information for finding work, developing business skills, but also bringing your own ideas to life through starting your own business (remember, we wrote about how to open a sole proprietorship in Croatia here ).

This is not an event with empty promises about how everything will turn out fine if you decide to stay, but an event during which successful stories from company and startup owners will inspire students and young people to take their future into their own hands.
