Zagreb Burger Festival Powered by Heinz Details Announced

We finally have more details about the yummiest Festival in Zagreb!

As we’ve already written about here, Zagreb Burger Festival starts soon – it will take place September 14 – 24 at Josip Juraj Strossmayer Square in Zagreb.

You can look forward to ten different burger bars from Zagreb, Split, Fažana, Pula and Dubrovnik, courtesy of Kokoš ili jaje creative studio. Zagreb’s very own Submarine (last year’s winner), RougeMarin, Kitchen & Grill Plac, Maredo, Green Point vegetarian oasis and 50 Burgers & Champagne Bar will also be there. Seafood lovers will be thrilled to try original burgers from Dubrovnik’s Barba. Arboretum Pub from Istria will also sail to Zagreb on this gourmet wave, as well as Mason, and Toto’s Burger Bar’s cheerful team will be representing Split.

What’s a burger without great booze? Of course, there will be bars, one of them on wheels, with original cocktails and refreshing beers.

After you’ve had a delicious burger, it’s time for a walk. Stop by the Spice & Health District and get your hands on some of the most interesting global spices, authentic Croatian products and a few surprises.

Continue walking until you reach the Grill Zone – you’ll find the world’s best grill there, as well as a new type of craft meat with juicy steaks and other scrumptious meat delicacies, with a whiskey bar on wheels serving as backup.

If there’s still room for dessert, head over to the Sweet Zone, have a glass of dessert wine and Dutch mini pancakes or delicious ice cream.

Finally, you can take your kids to the Kids’ Zone, full of imagination and joy. In addition to face painting, your little ones will be able to try magic tricks, jump on a trampoline, participate in games and have a great time with animators and educators.

The music programme will be completely different than what you’re used to – urban rhythms and crazy combinations of neo-soul, swing, reggae, funk and jazz, spiced up with some hip hop beats with DJs.
