One of Hvar’s top cultural attactions of course is that it is home to the oldest public theatre in Europe, built in 1612. As part of the celebrations for the 400th anniversary in 2012, Marijana Kolumbic produced a detailed history book of the Hvar theatre.
Marijana will be back in action tomorrow night talking theatre again, this time presenting part of the ERHT project (the European Route of Historical Theatres). Marijana’s talk will be a journey through the Adriatic route of old theatres, taking in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Serbia and Montengreo. The lecture is organised by the Hvar Heritage Museum.
It starts at 18:00 at the City Loggia tomorrow, December 15.
