A Day Trip to Scedro: Ever Been in Water So Clear?

There is no denying that technology has really opened up the island of Hvar, as elsewhere. With GoPros and other equipment, tourists are now posting their creations and memories online, so that the island is a little less undiscovered than before, which allows the rest of us to get a feeling of what some of its lesser known locations are like. 

Places like the idyllic island of Scedro, for example, which lies to the south of Hvar, a short boat ride from Zavala. 

Of course, the quality of video production varies enormously from tourist to tourist, but I really liked this one from a young couple from Split, on a day trip to Scedro. 

If you are looking to truly escape, with some of the clearest water in the world, virgin pine forests to chill in, a historic monastery to visit, and some of the finest fresh seafood on the Adriatic, Scedro should be on your list.
