Festival of Science in Hvar this Weekend

The 14th Festival of Science is taking place this week (April 18 – 24, 2016) in 19 cities across Croatia. Hvar is one of them.

Starting on Thursday, April 21, 2016 there will be presentations, lectures and workshops mainly at the Hvar Loggia. Some of the programme is specifically aimed for school kids (early afternoon), but interesting evening lectures about the evolution of the stars and about the sun will take place on Friday and Saturday.  If the weather permits, night sky observations will take place at the park in front of the Loggia.
