The main square in Jelsa got some festive cheers today (with thanks to Vivian Grisogono for the photo proof), as the Christmas decorations went up.
Of course the burning question of the winter has been what kind of star might appear, since last year’s offering set off a political discussion which split the nation and put Jelsa’s Christmas decorations into the national spotlight.
This year’s star is a departure from last year’s effort, and call me politically naive, but my first impressions of this star is that it is what is should be – a Christmas star celebrating Christmas.
