Stari Grad Best European Destination Nominee: 32. Sailing

Ten more days to go in voting for European Best Destination 2017, and Croatian nominee Stari Grad is in there with a great chance. 

A destination which has everything from 2400 years of history, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, immaculate old town, idyllic bay… and sailing heaven. 

For those of you who arrive by ferry, the entrance to the deep Stari Grad Channel (8km) is a majestic entrance to the town and ferry harbour. 

Now imagine doing it with a sailboat. At sunset… 

With its new extended waterfront and improved facilities for sailors, there has never been a better time to sail into Stari Grad.
