Tomorrow’s wine tasting in Stari Grad has been postponed. But get ready for Vrbanj…
The Hvar Wine Association has decided to postpone tomorrow’s planned wine tasting in Stari Grad. It coincides with a concert with Marijan Ban, and so it was decided that a later date would make more sense. The Skor location in Stari Grad will be waiting for you with lots of quality wine and Dalamtian ambience on August 9 and 12.
The good news, however, is that the Hvar Wine Association will be making its debut in Vrbanj on August 3, where some of the island’s top winemakers will be pouring the good stuff on the main square of Hvar’s largest village form 21:00.
Vrbanj, of course, is the home of Hvar hero Matej Ivanic, who led the Great Rebellion in 1510-14, whose 500th anniversary will be commemorated with a special exhibition at the tasting in Vrbanj. Don’t miss it!
