We usually don´t go much to the south side of the island during the peak season, but when a friend texted me, that she will be in Sveta Nedilja for a few days, it was a pretty good reason to make the trip through the unique tunnel to the sunnier side of the sunny island.
I love to bath on the south side of the island. I don´t know what it is exactly, but the sea is very different on the other side. Not that it would be anything wrong with bating and swiming in Jelsa, it is just the feeling I have when I enter the sea in Zavala, Ivan Dolac or Sveta Nedilja – it is like the sea would hug me. Strange, I know, but it is great..
My friend took us to a small pebble beach with a stunning rock in the middle of it. We enjoyed catching up while swimming in the warm sea (which hugged me again) and will be visiting this side of the island very soon again, I am sure – the whole September will be ours..
