The Split Food Festival is a continuation of the gastro-project “Croatia Food Festival” which presents the best street food offer throughout Croatian cities. We hope you’re hungry.
At Nada’s Rugby Club, which is more famously known as the old Hajduk stadium (or Stari Plac), an interesting gastro-manifestation will take place next weekend: The Split Food Festival powered by Pan, announces Ljepota and Zdravlje on August 26, 2017.
All lovers of good food and drinks will have a two-day opportunity to enjoy unique gastronomic flavors, good fun and discover the many tasty charms of street food in the Dalmatian capital of Split.
The Split Food Festival is a continuation of the gastro project Croatia Food Festival which brings different dishes and exciting gastronomy to more than 75,000 citizens in Croatian cities.
Split is a new destination for this project, and this gastro-manifestation for the people of Split will be something fresh, intriguing, diverse, and surely an experience not to be missed.
At the Split Food Festival, visitors will be able to try a 700 g ham steak made from the top-secret recipe by the brothers at Pivac – a signature dish that has already become a trademark of the Croatia Food Festival.
Guests will also be able to taste a Tzatziki lamb that cannot be resisted by the biggest gourmands, a blue cheese burger with fries both young and old will love, Mexican chicken fajitas, and Dutch pancakes.
As a unique part of this occasion, in collaboration with the famous Croatian and Split nutritionist Olja Martinić, visitors to the Split Food Festival will have the opportunity to try an Anti-Age Gulash (made from veal, yogurt, and fried polenta) and an Anti-Age smoothie made with medicinal herbs and detoxing fruits and vegetables. All dishes will include either Meggle butter with herbs or other Meggle dairy products.
Since every satisfying meal deserves an even more satisfying beer, Pan will power the festival with a range of top quality beer products including their Golden Pan, Light Pan, Somersby, Pannonian beer, and Grimbergen – attracting all lovers of beer and those who like to explore new beer tastes.
If you’re more of a wine-o, Feravina will have the best varieties and gemišt on hand, and there will also be a special corner for Vergnano Coffee, brewing tasty cups of coffee and chilled coffee-based cocktails.
Because every gastro-traveler needs a gourmet car, the Split Food Festival has partnered up with the Kia Sportage this year – an excellent addition to this unique event!
We hope that we’ve convinced you to visit the Split Food Festival this year – why not give your taste buds a surprise while enjoying the irresistible taste of street food?
The festival will be held at the old Hajduk stadium (Stari Plac) from September 1-2, 2017, from 12:00-24:00.
