After months of preparation, Pločnik, a new conceptual space in the city of Zagreb, will open its doors on Wednesday, July 13, at Međimurska 21.
Pločnik combines a creative drive in combination with store plates and multimedia, as well as a club room for everyday socializing. This project was launched in conjunction with promo company Pozitivan ritam, Alli Consilium (organizer of Lost Theory Festival) and author of interior design POOP Studio.
The opening of the venue will display “Run From Sound”, the first video and single from the band Bamwise’s upcoming album that will soon be under the auspices of PDV. Bamwise is a sextet from Zagreb, a collaboration of five musicians and a VJ artist who merge together a shared love of electronic dub. Bamwise will also be performing at Seasplash and Outlook Festival this summer.
The opening band is comprimsed of two members from the band Bamwise, making dub/reggae duo Jahstice Sound, and Sergei Lugović from club SYRUP will also play.
