The donation made by an anonymous benefactor has caused great interest in the town.
An improved children’s playground in the Lenišće neighbourhood in Koprivnica has recently been inaugurated, thanks to a donation made by a person who wanted to remain anonymous and donated more than 300,000 kuna, reports Lokalni.hr on June 5, 2018.
The playground at the Vinko Vošicki Street now has eight new pieces of equipment, football goals and a table-tennis table.
In total, the equipment is worth around 310,000 kuna, while the planning activities and the installation of the equipment were financed by the Town of Koprivnica, which added that the greenery around the playground would be further decorated by the Komunalac municipal utility company.
The donation of the anonymous benefactor has caused considerable interest in the whole town, while the inhabitants of the Lenišće neighbourhood said they were pleasantly surprised by the generous donation and wanted to thank the unidentified donor who has enabled children to spend more time far away from their computer and smartphones.
