The City of Split and all of Dalmatia will receive a major boost in quality health tourism as the Bagatin Clinic plans to open its doors in the Dalmatian capital.

Namely, the best dermatology clinic in Europe and leading healthcare ambassadors in Croatia, the Bagatin Clinic, will soon open its doors in Split, reports HRTurizam on January 7, 2019.

The Bagatin Clinic will be located within the luxurious Diocletian Hotel & Residence, which offers 52 luxurious rooms, just a 15-minute walk from Split’s city center.

“Our long tradition of business, culture, knowledge, skills, innovation and the rich offer we have will be provided at a new address at the Hotel Diocletian, within the Split Health Center, from January 21, 2019,” says Ognjen Bagatin of the Bagatin Clinic.

Split can thus soon expect top, five-star service, initially through dentistry, cosmetology and aesthetic dermatology departments.

“Split is a strong destination, and we expect a lot, mostly in the area of medical tourism, which has great potential in a tourist town such as Split. We want to raise the quality of medical services for both the local population and tourists who visit us, along with other clinics and hotels and highlight Split as a European destination for medical tourism,” added Bagatin

The Bagatin Clinic is synonymous with quality service and state-of-the-art technology, which is proven by many different awards at the European level. The Bagatin Clinic has been named the leading dermatological clinic in Europe according to the latest analysis of European dermatological clinics, which is performed by the Global Clinic Rating – an international accreditation body for medical institutions.

“The latest technology will be found at our dental offices, and some treatments will be available within the Laser Center. The Department of Surgery, in the first phase, will offer fewer surgical procedures and examinations, and soon we will announce the expansion of the offer,” concluded Bagatin.

This is undoubtedly a game changer and an excellent opportunity for Split as a destination

Getting such a reliable and respectable player in the health tourism scene is certainly a sign of prestige, which opens up significant potential for the growth of health tourism in the destination.

Thus, January 21, 2019, will be marked as one of the milestones in the development of health tourism in Split.

Now it is up to Split as a tourist destination to see how far they can build on this health tourism boost. The opportunity is there, the entrepreneurs are ready, and there is no time to wait for various strategies and action plans, as only those who are fast, dynamic, creative, and innovative – and those work and want to work – are growing and developing.
