Chiavalon Extra Virgin Olive Oil Wins Big in Zurich!

The Istrian olive oil continues their winning streak…

Just one month after Chiavalon Extra Virgin Olive Oil was awarded the Extra Gold medal at the 22nd BIOL International Olive Oil competition, the champion olive oil has even more reason to celebrate today.

At the recent Olive Oil Award in Zurich, the Chiavalon Extra Virgin Olive Oil “EX ALBIS” obtained the Gold medal and the award for the best Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the entire competition!

The winning “EX ALBIS” is produced from autochthonous olive cultivars that include buža, vodnjanska, crnica vodnjanska, istarska bjelica, and moražola. You can read more about the oil here. 

The Olive Oil Award Zurich, “which claims no olive oil competition in the world could better represent the fundamental values of Switzerland”, is hosted by the Swiss Olive Oil Panel. The winners of the competition were announced on April 27, 2017.
