EgoFree, a music and community festival supporting homeless charities and the local art force, will be held for its fourth edition this month.
The fourth edition of EgoFree Festival brings yet another vibrant program of music events, workshops, exhibitors of handicrafts and more to Turkish Tower in Split from April 26 to 28, 2019, reports Dalmatinski Portal on April 20, 2019.
This year, the purpose of the festival is to raise funds for the ‘Sindrom Down-21’ Association. By participating in ‘Forgotten Games’ led by Sindrom Down-21’s volunteers, visitors will be able to win numerous prizess by exhibitors and other sponsors.
As always, there will be music for everyone’s taste, from electronic sounds to live concerts and vinyl on three stages – the main stage ‘Wonderful Forest’, the second stage ‘Kula o’ cvića‘ and the third ‘Vinylivada’.
The headliners of this year’s EgoFree Festival, who will take the ‘Wonderful Forest’ main stage, are Kozmodrum and Grapevine babies at 7 pm on Saturday, and Jan Kinčl & Regis Kattie starting at 8 pm on Sunday. The ‘Kula o’ cvića‘ stage is reserved for the techno and house tones of numerous local and international DJs, and ‘Vinylivada’ for nostalgic rock and blues music, the organizers announced.
On Sunday morning, the Sindrom Down-21 Association will also host their music program on the main stage, and numerous workshops will be held by many Split associations and individuals, including Info Zona, Kam-Hram, Ubijmo dosadu, Yoga & Art House, Maja facepaint, Slack Split, Kreator entertainment and many others. At the bar, visitors can enjoy the gastronomic delights of DeBelly restaurant, Luda kuća, and Este bar.
EgoFree Festival is a free humanitarian event which also encourages socializing among the people of Split while utilizing the quality green spaces within the city. The people of Split will have the opportunity to spend the weekend in the beautiful natural surroundings of Park Mladosti (better known as the Turkish Tower) which was renovated and cleaned thanks to a local initiative back in 2016. With a vibrant program prepared by the organizers, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
