Are you ready to revisit the horrors of the First World War?
As eZadar writes on the 8th of October, 2018, from October the 9th to the 13th – the very first Escape Room will come to the popular Dalmatian city of Zadar, offering a unique experience on the Zadar waterfront (riva) every day from 10:00 to 22:00.
All that is asked of you is your creativity, skill and a dose of team spirit, as well as courage, perseverance, and a little endurance! Entrance is free. The opening is scheduled for the 9th of October at 09:30, and everyone is welcome.
The “Escape room” concept has popped up across the world and is an increasingly popular one, involving a highly creative and interesting display of historical events that will surely be of interest to everyone.
The set up of Zadar’s Escape Room consists of several rooms through which one passes after successfully solving the puzzle laid out before you in each room. The hospital, the trenches, and the recruitment area are just a handful of the places in which visitors can experience some of the haunting impressions of the tragic First World War.
During their quest, participants must solve puzzles and overcome the obstacles placed before them with a sense of team spirit and collaboration. Various sound and carefully chosen video effects provide a unique, realistic experience in each and every scenario. Three people participate in each test, taking half an hour a time.
On the occasion of the marking the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, and the announcement of 2018 as the “Year of Culture”, within the framework of the project “NETWORLD” we remember the horrific events of World War I in the Danube region, with special emphasis placed on youth education and contribution to the development of cultural tourism.
The county institution INOVAcija, as the only representative from the Republic of Croatia, is participating in the project which involves as many as 33 partners.
