Did you know that Lado was founded 68 years ago? Back in 1949, the most famous Croatian folk ensemble was established in Zagreb with the aim to explore the wealth of traditions in Croatian dance and music.
The Lado ensemble is made up of 38 dancers and singers and 14 musicians who play around 50 different traditional and classical instruments. Together, they perform a collection of more than a hundred different dances and several hundred vocal and instrumental numbers.
Adorned in more than 1,200 authentic national costumes, Lado has performed all over Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Austria and Africa – achieving more than 5,000 concerts in 48 countries.
As the famous Croatian ensemble prepares for their upcoming show which will take place at the Zagreb Arena on June 3, 2017, content engine Pixsell was the first to record the rehearsal of the ensemble in 360 video!
Here’s a behind the scenes look at Lado rehearsing Underneath the Duchess of the Century in this exclusive 360 video by Pixsell.
