Trogir’s Moondance festival and this year’s newest Obonjan are among the seven best European festival locations rated by Forbes!
Forbes’ Cecilia Rodriguez has picked 7 of the most idyllic and unique festival locations for summer 2016, and we are happy to announce that Croatian locations steal two of the spots!
Having already received recognition in 2015 by one of the most influential portals for electronic music (Pulse Radio), Moondance has also received praise by Spaces, one of the most respected magazines on architecture, design, and art, being ranked among the seven best festivals in the world. To remind you, Moondance is held inside Karmelengo Fortress, need we say more?
Obonjan, interestingly enough, is in its first edition festival this year. A festival held on the “fountain of youth” island, this island was just leased last year to Šibenik Riviera, and had been completely untouched for years. The island of Obonjan will be transformed into a carbon neutral, environmentally friendly, perfect party location for the span of two months this summer, offering a full on retreat to its guests.
Moondance goes from August 11-13, and Obonjan runs from July 28-September 6.
