Croatia’s long list of first-class electronic music performers grows with the arrival of American DJ Brian Cid.
Famous American DJ, producer, and multi-platinum audio engineer Brian Cid will play the final ‘Opposite’ party of the season on Saturday, May 12th at Kuglana in Šibenik as his premiere performance in Croatia, reports Sibenik.in on April 17, 2018.
The renowned DJ and producer, whose tracks are on the list of the most relevant and internationally recognized record labels of house, deep house, techno and progressive house music, will visit Croatia all the way from Brooklyn, New York next month.
His innovation, style, and sound are powerful, so it’s no wonder Cid is always performing at the best clubs, parties and events around the world. Furthermore, Cid’s approach to music and his substantial influence on the electronic scene led him to a nomination for DJ Mag’s best emerging DJ in North America last year.
Brian Cid began producing as early as a 14-year-old. Though he started off by playing the drums, Cid then turned to the hip-hop and pop scene where he worked as an audio engineer for the world’s biggest stars. Cid quickly perfected his technique and production and began creating his unique style and sound, which ultimately led him to perform on his own.
Brian’s original productions landed him on labels such as Guy J’s Lost & Found, Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, Manjumasi, Get Physical, MicroCastle, Cityfox and many others, and his music has been sampled by electronic music legends including Richie Hawtin, Pete Tong, Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge, Joris Voorn, Adriatique, Damian Lazarus, Thugfucker and Tale of Us.
Cid regularly performs at the best clubs in New York, the United States, and around the world. He has been a guest at events organized by Teksupport, Cityfox Experience, Mixmag Labs, and he’s even taken the stage at the famous Burning Man Festival, the BPM Festival & Hardpop in Mexico, Toronto’s Coda & Stereobar in Canada, Berlin’s KaterBlau, and all the way to Amsterdam, Budapest, the Middle East and Argentina.
Next month, Cid will play in Šibenik, a coastal city that becomes the center of music on the Adriatic – you may even be familiar with the city hosting some of the most popular performers in the world like Gus Gus, Kevin Yost, Stereo MCs, Brian Ferry, Morcheeba, Thievery Corporation, DJ Hell, Kruder & Dorfmeister and many more.
Organized by RatCat production, Cid will be a guest of Šibenik’s most renowned DJ, Lawrence Klein, who also hosted Petar Dundov at the Opposite evenings this season. This will be the last club night of the club season at Kuglana, and what better way to send it off than with Brian Cid.
