A special kind of food market in Zagreb.
Saturday nights in Zagreb will yet again be enjoyed in a special atmosphere at the famous attic terrace. The Little Market in the Attic (Mali plac s tavana) is launching its new season of the popular night market. In the beginning, the event will be held three Saturdays in a row until the end of July (16, 23 and 30 July) at an attic in Sinkovićeva Street 8, reports fashion.hr on July 14, 2016.
The night market represents an opportunity to get a tasty bite together with your friend or significant other or toast each other with smoothies or cocktails on the Attic’s terrace before going out or before preparing a dinner at home on a romantic summer evening. It offers one of the best views in the entire city. Also, everything you get at the Little Market on a Saturday night is absolutely suitable for consumption as a part of a super fresh Sunday breakfast which includes fruits, green smoothies, salads, goat cheese and crispy bread.
The admission is free, and the Little Market in the Attic, in its Saturday night mode, is open from 7 to 11 pm. This mobile marketplace brings together small producers of organic food from different regions all around Croatia. Together with numerous other projects and programmes, Little Market has enriched the summer offer in the capital.
The organizers say that everyone is invited to enjoy this special vibe, cocktails, foodie crowds, summer, and the fantastic view from the terrace. Little Market was developed and launched by Jelena Iva Nikolić and Jelena Mikin at the end of 2012. They wanted to create a new, inspirational and self-sustaining platform for the presentation of local organic food. Later on, it has grown and “spread” to other interesting locations in the city.
