Renowned French artist Abdelkader Benchamma will open his exhibition at gallery Singular in Pula on July 21.
Works by Abdelkader Benchamma will be displayed across the gallery walls, exposing an expansion of drawings, with atmospheric and almost figurative drawings through wondrous landscapes, showing the stormy sky, or the universe expanding.
Abdelkader Benchamma lives and works between Montpellier and Paris, and his international career was built by exposure through prestigious public and private institutions. Benchamma’s works were recently exhibited at The Drawing Center in New York, FRAC Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris and the Fondation Boghossian in Brussels.

Gallery Singular has a unique concept of ‘one artist, one work’ with exhibits primarily viewed from the street, 24 hours a day through a large gallery window, open to passersby and the public.
A well designed concept gallery run by artists Sofija Silvia and Ilia Smiljanić, they have crafted a quality and well equipped space with impeccable production that provides the singular achievement of high quality programs of solo exhibitions by internationally established artists.
This solo exhibition is Benchamma’s second visit to Croatia, with an exhibition last year at Hotel Adriatic in Rovinj.
The exhibition will be open until September 8. The Gallery Singular is located at Castropola 51 in Pula.
