Sixth Children’s Bike Camp In Sveti Martin

Total Croatia News

Bike Club Mura Avantura is organising a camp in two sections to be held on the sports fields of the LifeClass spa

The camp to be held in the north of Croatia is meant for kids who want an introduction to cycling, learn to ride a bicycle and perfect their cycling technique. The goal of the camp is to enable participants to ride bikes independently, as Biker.hr reports on June 17, 2016.

A new procedure this year is the initial testing for all children after which they will be assigned to basic, advanced and competitive groups. The camp will be held in two sections, this first one at the end of June and the second at the end of August.

Children will be taught by experienced bikers Ines Sobočan (basic group) and Mario Sever (competitive group), joined by Željko Rob (technical support) and Sanja Novinščak (applications).

It is important to point out the programme content has trickled down from the plan and programme of the cycling section and verified by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, making the fee seem quite inexpensive. All children wanting to participate in the first camp (from June 28 to July 2) pay a fee of only 70 Kuna, while those taking part in both camps (the first dates and from August 30 to September 3) will pay a 100 Kuna fee.

Applications for participation are accepted via e-mail [email protected]. First contact needs only the child’s first and last name, date of birth, t-shirt size and names and cell phone numbers of parents.

The organisers have arranged for every participant to receive a t-shirt, diploma, expert guidance, expert bike tune-up, participation in the final competition and numerous agility tests (bike acceleration, bike slalom…) but other surprises too! Considering everything, apply today!
