At the 16th International Innovation Exhibition, ARCA 2018, Split innovators from the company Amplifico received the gold medal in their category for the smart parking barrier ‘Parklio’, reports Dalmatinski Portal on October 22, 2018.
Parklio is the first parking barrier controlled by a mobile application
As stated by Dario Boras, Marko Smoljo, Karlo Gašpar and Josip Labrović of Amplifico, Parklio is the first parking barrier controlled by a mobile application. The Amplifico team grew up in Solin’s entrepreneurial incubator, and significant support for the gold was given by the Šibenik Society of Innovators – Faust Vrančić.
“The members of the international jury were simply delighted and without a doubt, awarded the gold to the worthy Split team. Literally, all ARCA visitors showed tremendous interest in the smart parking barrier ‘Parklio’. Therefore, we see a bright future for the Amplifico team.

Their clever barriers can already be seen in many private, hotel and public parking lots across Europe, they are an entirely Croatian product and are currently being exported to ten EU countries,” said a proud Josip Papak from the Innovation Society of Faust Vrančić.

The International Innovation Exhibition, ARCA, is the largest gathering of innovators in Croatia. The event was once again sponsored by KONČAR.
