Encouraged by the success of the ‘Oliver Medley’, which saw more than 60,000 views in 10 days, the Split University Choir recorded another famous Oliver song just in time for the holidays.

The year 2018 has undoubtedly been the ‘Year of Oliver’. Croatia’s legendary singer, who left us far too soon after a battle with cancer, has been honored in a world of ways since his passing this summer.

While we know that Oliver’s beloved Vela Luka will honor the singer with a museum and the new ‘Days of Oliver Dragojević’ event scheduled to take place next summer, our neighbors in Slovenia launched a concert tour featuring favorite Croatian artists, who honored the musical icon with his songs in seven cities across the country.

We also just celebrated what would have been Oliver’s 71st birthday on December 7th.

Because there aren’t enough ways to honor and cherish our dear Oliver Dragojević, we can keep the memory of him alive through his songs, which is exactly what a group of singers from Split has done.

The Split University Choir ‘Silvije Bombardelli’ first announced their admiration for the singer just a few weeks ago when they released the video titled ‘Oliver Medley’.

The video racked up more than 60,000 views in 10 days.

On Friday, the Split University Choir came back with yet another Oliver hit, destined to get you in the Christmas spirit, reports Dalmatinski Portal on December 22, 2018.

“Encouraged by the success of the ‘Oliver Medley’, which saw more than 60,000 views in 10 days, we recorded another Oliver Christmas song. We filmed it in the beautiful ambiance of Perivoj,” the choir said.

Get ready for the holidays and help us remember the greatest Croatian singer of our lifetime with the hit ‘Bijeli Božić’ (White Christmas).
