Advent in Zagreb, who was last year voted the best European destination for Advent, begins on Saturday, 26 November and will run through 8 January, 2017. A new “Fashion Advent” will take place from 10-31 December.
A new feature that will interest all lovers of fashion is certainly the Fashion Advent, which was presented at Zagreb’s Hotel Esplanade on Thursday by the Director of the Zagreb Tourist Board – Martina Bienenfeld. The new fashion event will be held at the Oktogon in Zagreb from 10-31 December, reports Index.hr.
For the Fashion Advent, the entire Oktogon space will be arranged into a fashion street, with 12 of the most renowned Croatian designers from the area presenting their creations.
In addition, a rich jazz program will be held each day, with many scheduled concert surprises. Every Wednesday in Oktogon Mate Jankovic and famous Croatian designers will cook for visitors, on Thursdays the designers will have presentations, and Sundays will host a Business Cafe with successful Croatian entrepreneurs.
This is the first fashion Advent in Europe, and its organizers are designers Đurđica Vorkapić, Nives Polovina Barun and Sanja Drakulić.
