Although The Voice this season is not broadcast in Croatia, that doesn’t not mean that Croats can’t be successful on the popular singing show elsewhere…

Croat Roza Lozica (26) was on this week’s episode of the Dutch “The Voice” and thrilled with a performance singing Alicia Keys’ “How Come You Don’t Call Me”.

Roza lives and works in the Netherlands, and has so far been known as a backing vocalist for some of the most famous Dutch singers such as Alain Clark, Glennis Grace, and René Froger. Three years ago, she issued her first single, “Second Home”.

“I applied to this competition because I do not want to be in the background anymore, I want to be in the spotlight,” Roza stated with confidence.

On her blind audition, Roza was presented with three mentors for the show in which she has chosen rapper Ali B.

We’re sure we’ll be hearing more about Roza in the near future.
