One of the most famous world manufacturers of cars and trucks, the Swedish brand Volvo, recorded a new commercial for Volvo Trucks in Croatia. Filming took place in late September near Vrlika.
Poslovni.hr writes that after Honda, whose last model raced on the Rijeka bypass, another major automotive house decided to film a fascinating commercial that will, no doubt, do plenty for the promotion of Croatia.
The commercial features the Volvo FH 540 truck with reinforced D13 engine which is driven by Louise Marriott, but the star of commercial is professional paraglider Guillame Galvani who is towed by the Volvo FH truck in a world’s first precision stunt, the details state on YouTube.
“This Live Test was set up to demonstrate the performance of Volvo Trucks’ unique powertrain with the I-Shift Dual Clutch gearbox. To keep the paraglider in flying, the truck had to keep up its speed even when driving on demanding roads up a mountain pass.”
The video on Youtube has been viewed nearly 780,000 times in two days.
