It is often said how street art and graffiti represent the urban pulse of any city. One of the most vibrant art scenes in Croatia is in Vodnjan, a picturesque Istrian town that is not just a tourist destination renowned for its great wine and olive oil, it is also an open gallery.
Buildings are adorned with beautiful murals, and most of them were created during traditional urban street art festival Boombarstick which takes place every summer. This year was no exception and numerous street artists from all over the world made Vodnjan their temporary home in order to use its buildings as a unique canvas for their works of art.
Enough said, it’s time to take a brief tour through the streets of Vodnjan and its unique street art exhibition.
