Remember those customized Startas sneakers with the colors of Zadar’s famous sunset? Now, Šibenik is following suit thanks to their new collaboration with Borovo brand Startas and National Park Krka.
Anyone who has paid any attention to the window of the administration building at NP Krka Masna street has, amongst other NP Krka related memorabilia and souvenirs, spotted the popular Startas sneakers complete with new green and black accents.
The green details on the Startas belong to frogs and the black to bats as both animals are an integral part of the fauna at NP Krka.
“The public institution ‘Krka National Park’ announced a public invitation for souvenir producers to work together on a promotional venture with the park. Borovo from Vukovar suggested their Startas sneakers complete with animal characters who live in “Krka” – those being frogs, bats and dragonflies. The Startas were the chosen ones and can now be selected and purchased in our souvenir shops,” explained spokeswoman for NP Krka Katja Župan on how the collaboration came about.
We can stand by any cooperation that facilitates the use of actually functional souvenirs rather than your traditional keychains or magnets. Be sure to look out for NP Krka Startas next time you’re at the park!
