Experience one of the best parts of Zagreb Advent at Klovićevi Dvori Gallery and Gradec!

Along with the exhibition, film, entertainment and gastronomic offer, Zagreb’s Klovićevi Dvori Gallery has prepared 22 concerts to be held during December for this year’s Advent celebration, reports Index.hr on November 27, 2018.

The music program begins already this Friday, November 30, with an opening concert by Positivo – and one day later on the Gradec plateau, Cubismo will take the stage. Concerts will be held every weekend, and for now, Klovićevi Dvori has announced Tram 11, Songkillers, Gustafi, TBF, Ljetno kino, and the Dino Dvornik Tribute Band.

Visitors to Klovićevi Dvori during Advent will be able to see two exhibitions – an extensive retrospective exhibition by Nikola Reiser and a retrospective of Vladimir Becić, which opens on December 6.

From December 1 to 30, the Gallery will also be open on Friday and Saturday until 10 pm with a promotional 50% discount from 7 pm to 10 pm.

Christmas films will be screened at the atrium, or the ‘Advent Cinema’, while at the entrance to Klovićevi Dvori, the artist Zdenko Bašić will exhibit illustrations with the motifs from August Šenoa’s ‘Goldsmith’s Treasure’.

During Advent, the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery will also present a new project – an educational and entertainment play titled “The Wonderful Leadership of Julija Klovića“.

This year will even feature a competition for the most beautiful advent photograph with the view of the Zagreb Cathedral, with three new advent scenes on the Gradec plateau this season.

As a special experience, through augmented reality, visitors to Gradec will be able to watch the arrival of Santa Claus, decorated with over one hundred thousand lights.

“With the help of a mobile app, visitors will be able to watch the magical atmosphere on Gradec plateau, where each day will have the opportunity to experience an unforgettable sight – the landing of Santa Claus accompanied by his reindeer from the North Pole. Anyone who finds themselves on the Gradec plateau will be able to take a photo or video with Santa Claus,” says the announcement.

Istrian and Slavonian dishes will be featured as part of the gastronomic offerings, with a special offer of Russian cuisine, chocolate specialties, and warm and cold winter cocktails.
