One beloved burger joint in Zagreb, known better to many of you as Submarine Burger, is in the exclusive company of the best burgers in Europe! This fantastic result is thanks to a survey carried out among the followers of Big 7 Travel, which boasts a community of 1.5 million fans.
The well-known Croatian burger chain Submarine Burger made its mark on the map of the best burgers in Europe and is now considered go-to eatery on Croatia’s foodie bucket list. The big news was announced by Big 7 Travel, a British tourist portal for gourmet enthusiasts, adventurers and travel lovers, reports Jutarnji List on February 22, 2019.
The portal surveyed its companions, which make up the community of 1.5 million on social media. Online reviews, previous media coverage and blogs were also included in the overall rating.
“We are pleasantly surprised that they have just chosen us to represent Croatia as the only Croatian brand listed on the map of the best burgers in Europe. Although there is always room for improvement, this news has further motivated us to continue working. I congratulate all my colleagues because the entire team is worthy of this award,” said Luka Jureško.
The Submarine team also added that they were delighted that their quality, based on local ingredients from the local family farms, was recognized beyond the borders.
Recall, Submarine currently has five restaurants in Zagreb and one in Rijeka and Belgrade, with new locations to open soon. The first restaurant opened in 2014 at Frankopanska 11, and today, the company employs more than 80 people, donates to sports and charity, actively works on staff training and regularly introduces innovations in the offer – so it is by no means surprising that now rank among the most famous European burger brands.
