These guides are special in that they are written by professionals and insiders of the craft, including the best bartenders, chefs and baristas in the world. Phaidon’s “Where to” books are as necessary as Trip Advisor, Untappd and Google Maps. They feature all the key information about the selected hotspots, including special and easy-to-navigate maps and insightful reviews. The latest Phaidon’s insider guide is devoted to coffee.
A follow-up to Where Chefs Eat, Where Bartenders Drink and Where to Eat Pizza, the new Phaidon book Where to Drink Coffee offers a comprehensive guide on where to drink the best cup of joe. It includes recommendations from over 150 coffee experts and features over 600 spots across 50 countries, including one cult classic coffee spot in Zagreb – the Eliscaffe in Ilica 63 Street. The cafe is run by Nik Oroši, who is somewhat of a pioneer in Zagreb cafe scene – being among the first to have introduced special varieties of coffee. Oroši shared this exciting news on Facebook.
