March the 19th, 2026 – Air Serbia is planning to launch more direct flights to Croatia this year, linking Belgrade with the island airport on Brač.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Air Serbia is set to launch a direct seasonal route between Belgrade and one of the most famous summer resorts on the entire Adriatic coast, the island of Brač this summer.

By introducing this brand new seasonal route, the Serbian national airline is further expanding its offer to attractive Adriatic destinations and enabling passengers to reach popular summer resorts more easily. Flights between Belgrade and Brač will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from June the 20th to September the 12th.

Gorgeous Brač is widely known for its beautiful beaches (particularly for Zlatni rat/Golden horn), its crystal clear sea, dense Mediterranean pine forests, old olive groves and authentic Mediterranean ambience. Though easily reached by ferry from Split, increasing the number of flights to the island itself removes obstacles.

Air Serbia introducing new direct flights to Brač will see the company further strength its presence in Croatia and on the tourism market, building on its existing routes to Split, Dubrovnik, Rijeka, Pula, Zadar and Zagreb. The airline provides passengers with numerous connections via Belgrade to destinations from the wide Air Serbia network, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Rome, Frankfurt, Milan, Oslo, Prague, Vienna, Zurich and many others.

Brač Airport otherwise received 17.5 thousand passengers last year, which represents an 11.3% decrease compared to back in 2024.
