June 21, 2023 – There were an average of 159 paid hours in April, which is 12.6 percent less than in March. As the Croatian Bureau of Statistics reported, the average monthly salary in Croatia was €1.122 net in April.
As Poslovni writes, the average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in Croatia amounted to EUR 1,122 in April. On the annual level, this is nominally higher by 12 percent and, in real terms, by 2.8 percent. The data was presented by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
According to the report published on Tuesday, the average net salary of 1,122 euros is nominally lower by 0.7 percent and, in real terms, by 1.7 percent than in March.
Average Salary in Croatia According to Field
The highest average monthly net salary in Croatia was paid in the field of extracting crude oil and natural gas. Here, it amounted to EUR 3,625. The lowest monthly net salary, however, was paid in the field of manufacturing leather and related products. It amounted to EUR 742.
According to CBS data, the median net salary paid for April was 940 euros. This means that half of all employees in Croatia received less, while half received more than that amount.
The average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities for April was EUR 1,547. This is nominally lower by 0.6 percent and, in real terms, by 1.6 percent compared to March.
On an annual level, the average gross salary in Croatia is nominally higher by 13.8 percent and in real terms, by 4.5 percent.
