August the 26th, 2026 – Multiple billionaires have come together on a 200 million euro yacht near the southern Croatian island of Mljet. Jeff Bezos, and Jan Koum are among them.
Poslovni reports that this impressive vessel can accommodate 16 guests along with 32 crew members, and the yacht’s price is nearly 200 million euros. Mljet is set to be hosting a meeting of two of the world’s biggest technology billionaires, Jan Koum and Jeff Bezos, over the next few days. They met on Koum’s yacht worth nearly 200 million dollars.
Jan Koum, co-founder of WhatsApp whose wealth is estimated at 17 billion dollars, anchored his superyacht Moonrise near Mljet, and the same day Jeff Bezos, owner of Amazon, arrived in the company of American media mogul Barry Diller. Koum arrived on the Moonrise by helicopter on Monday, and Bezos visited him in the late afternoon hours. The three billionaires, Koum, Bezos and Diller, thus found themselves on the same vessel in the middle of the Adriatic Sea.
Koum is no stranger to the Croatian coast; he has holidayed in our beautiful country before. His superyacht Moonrise was photographed between the islands of Lopud and Šipan back in 2021 and 2024, and it was recorded that on one occasion he arrived for a summer holiday in Croatia with as many as three vessels: in addition to Moonrise he was accompanied by the 74-metre yacht Mogambo and the 55-metre Power Play, which served him as a helipad. The Amazon owner regularly summers on the Mediterranean on his superyacht Koru, where he cruised the Adriatic in the summers of 2023 and 2025, with recorded stays on Hvar, Mljet, Korčula, and a visit to the Šibenik archipelago.
The yacht Moonrise isn’t just an ordinary vessel. It’s a 100-metre superyacht from the Dutch shipyard Feadship, built in 2020. The sophisticated exterior design is by De Voogt, while the interior is the work of French designer Rémi Tessier. The vessel can accommodate 16 guests along with 32 crew members, and the yacht’s price is nearly 200 million euros.
