Croatia’s AD Plastik Records Double-Digit Growth and Record Profit

The published audited annual financial statements confirm that the for AD Plastik Group, the year 2017 was one of the best in the last ten years.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 20th of April, 2018, the group’s operating income increased by 16.5 percent compared to the previous year and amounted to an impressive 1,090.14 million kuna.

Net profit for 2017 amounted to a record 70.21 million kuna and is 41.2 percent higher than it was during the previous year. Profit before interest, taxes and depreciation (EBITDA) in the reporting period amounted to 158.43 million kuna, a considerable increase of 16.6 percent in comparison to the previous year. According to announcements, the EBITDA margin remained at 14.5 percent year-on-year.

AD Plastik Group announced the first Integrated Report for 2017, which includes the company’s management report, the Sustainable Development Report and the annual financial statements. It contains all the key financial and non-financial information that reports on the company’s impact on both society and the environment.

“The successful results are a cause for satisfaction, but also an incentive for the further realisation of the planned goals. This was a very successful year for AD Plastik Group and a solid foundation for the planned future. Our operating income in the reporting period grew by 16.5 percent, which shows that the realised investments and projects in the past year were a good strategic choice,” noted Marinko Došen, CEO of AD Plastik Group.

The company’s financial position improvement trend is continuing and business growth has been achieved with a further reduction in net debt. Credit indebtedness is down by a massive 54.11 million kuna compared to the same period last year.

“Over the past year, we’ve negotiated a significant number of new jobs for several Renault, PSA, Ford, Volkswagen, and Nissan vehicles, which will provide us over 150 million kuna in revenue over the next few years. It’s very important to us and is a dynamic project period. Our priority in further business is investing in technology development and knowledge, along with the overall growth of the Group on both the European and Russian automotive markets, which will achieve the planned increase in production and sales in all locations,” Marinko Došen concluded.
