December the 7th, 2023 – The Croatian company Syntio has obtained a patent for the improvement of data migration to the cloud across the pond in the USA.

As Novac/Jutarnji/Bernard Ivezic writes, the Croatian company Syntio, one of the largest global technology hubs for connecting the old IT systems of banks, telecoms and retailers – to the cloud, has successfully obtained a patent in the USA for part of its multicloud platform. This patent will allow this innovative domestic enterprise to further break into the market with its multicloud platform.

Speaking more specifically, this new American patent relates to improvements in Syntio’s Dataphos Publisher, which is a tool for rapid migration to the cloud.

Davorin Cetto, the director and one of the founders of Syntio, revealed that they have developed a special method that improves data migration to the cloud.

“This solution enables the optimisation of business processes related to cloud services, such as data organisation, information summarisation and finally, it enables our users to make business decisions faster,” explained Cetto.

The authors of the patent, which significantly improves data migration to the cloud for users, are one of the founders of the Croatian company Syntio, Tomislav Domanovac, and senior data engineer Ivan Zeko.

Cetto noted that successful international patenting by the USPTO is a great success for Syntio, which was the fastest growing Croatian IT company of all according to FT1000 last year. They stated from the company that they are currently one of the leading Google Cloud partners for data engineering, and they are also partners for the likes of Amazon Web Service and Microsoft Azure.

Cloud infrastructure is essential for the provision of wildly popular services such as Netflix and Spotify, and it also plays an equally important role for banks, telecoms and retailers who must now be present on the web and on mobile applications. However, as a rule, these older and larger companies tend not to keep data in the cloud but on their old systems. That’s where the Croatian company Syntio comes in and plays a vital role, as it has developed a way to connect them without any fuss.
