ZAGREB, August 23, 2018 – Nine Croatian gaming companies are participating in Gamescom, one of the world’s largest gaming and digital entertainment fairs taking place in Koeln, Germany, in the hope of finding new business partners.
The Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK), together with Croatia’s CGDA gaming cluster, have made it possible for Croatian gaming companies to attend the fair that is being held on 21-25 August, HGK said on Thursday.
The companies attending the fair are Nanobit, Digitalna Avantura, Intercorona, Iron Ward, Exordium Games, Pandora Studio, Abest, Games Revolted and Lion Game Lion. They are all members of HGK’s group for the development of computer games and IT association.
HGK said that a survey conducted by the Zagreb Institute of Economics into Croatia’s creative and cultural industry indicates that the game development industry currently employs about 250 people in more than 20 companies.
This is the fifth time that Croatia’s gaming companies are attending Gamescom which has attracted companies from more than 50 countries this year.
