HNS Officially Confirms New Contract for Zlatko Dalić

The Executive Board of the Croatian Football Federation held a meeting in Selce where most of the executive body, chaired by HNS President Davor Šuker, made several important decisions for the new competition year.

At the meeting, the Executive Board fully accepted and confirmed all elements of the agreement between President Šuker and coach of the Croatia national football team, Zlatko Dalić, on the continuation of cooperation, to mutual satisfaction, reports HNS on August 23, 2018. 

Furthermore, the Executive Board has appointed or confirmed the professional staff of all male teams. Nenad Gračan continues to lead the U21 team, Robert Jarni will lead the U20 selection, while Ivan Gudelj will take over the U19 team. Petar Krpan remains at the helm of the U17 team, Tomislav Gričar has taken the U15s, and Sergej Milivojević will lead the U14s. Mato Stanković continues to lead the futsal team. Along with these decisions, the relevant components of the professional staffs was confirmed, thus completing all HNS male teams. 

At the suggestion of clubs that consider this to be more practical, more cost-effective and competitively more interesting, the Third HNL will play in five groups instead of three from next season.

At the same time, the 1st HNLŽ was reduced from 10 to eight clubs, while the 1st HMNL was reduced from 12 to 10 clubs.

The Executive Board also adopted all documents including competitive propositions, league leadership and the list of delegates and referees for the third HNL and youth competitions.

The next meeting of the Executive Board will be held on October 14, 2018.
