Flixbus will introduce new services connecting Zagreb and major European cities.
FlixBus bus operator has decided to further expand its operations in Croatia. By following the data on number of passengers in the last three months, the cities of Budapest, Munich, Vienna and Ljubljana have proven to be the top destinations for travellers from Croatia, reports Poslovni.hr on September 29, 2016.
Therefore, staring from 30 September, travellers will be able to go to Budapest two times a day, while travellers to Ljubljana can already choose between six trips a day and to Munich between five daily departures. If they want to reach Vienna, there are three daily services. From these FlixBus hubs, passengers can continue their journey to the farthest reaches of Europe. Free wi-fi, free luggage, more space between seats, and free changes of reservations or cancellations up to 15 minutes before departures are an additional value for passengers.
“Over the last three months, we have been following the activities of our passengers. We have immediately noticed which cities are the most popular destinations and we have decided to respond to our users’ wishes. We want to offer them the opportunity to choose. Smart and environmentally-friendly travel with the best value for money ratio”, said Dean Čebohin, director of business development for the CEE region. By the end of the year, they will launch additional direct international connections to Europe.
Since the bus operator entered Croatian market and opened regional headquarters in Zagreb, the experience of travelling by bus is no longer the same, which is proven by 100,000 passengers transported since the beginning of FlixBus operations in Croatia. All parts of Croatia have been directly connected with major business, cultural and entertainment centres, such as Munich, Vienna, Budapest, Frankfurt, Milan, Turin, Rome, Ljubljana and other major hubs.
