Could one large foreign investment see a golf centre boost yet more tourism for Prukljan?

The State Property Ministry will, as Skradin’s Mayor confidently claims, pick up the pace, and there will be close involvement in each subsequent step involved in the process.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 12th of March, 2018, three foreign investors are interested in the construction of a golf club at Prukljan, located close to both Skradin and Šibenik, revealed Skradin Mayor Antonijo Brajković for one local Šibenik Portal after having been in a meeting at the State Property Ministry, owing to the aforementioned desired investment.

The potential eighteen-hole golf course with accompanying amenities such as hotels and restaurants, all worth over two billion kuna, would be built by international companies from Germany, the Netherlands and Turkey.

After an entire decade, the state property ministry, led by Goran Marić, has finally launched a search for investors and was engaged in collecting numerous non-binding offers right up until the very beginning of this month.

”It’s a very valuable offer, which is about 370 million euro, and is in line with the invitation and the valid spatial plans. Namely, there are two zones, a tourist zone stretching forty hectares, and a recreational-sporting area on 160 hectares,” Brajković explained.
