May the 27th, 2024 – The Fortenova Group (Grupa) has come a long way since rising from the ashes of the mess left by Agrokor back in 2017. The Group and its 22 companies have earned quite a prestigious certificate under CEO Fabris Peruško.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, following the successful completion of the stringent evaluation process, Croatia’s large Fortenova Group received the Best Places to Work certificate for 22 of its companies. This prestigious international certificate confirms that the Fortenova Group’s companies recognise the importance of a positive experience at the workplace and, above all, value their employees. With this, the Fortenova Group has become one of the world’s leading companies that consistently achieves good long-term business results through high employee engagement, participative leadership and a primary focus on people.
In addition to the fact that recognising Croatia’s Fortenova Group as a Best Place to Work confirms the importance of each employee’s contribution, it also develops and strengthens employer branding, the Best Place to Work certificate sets the Fortenova Group and its companies apart on the labour market, enables the better quality attraction of new employees. This is especially true when it comes to attracting younger would-be employees, as they are quick to recognise the importance of independent certifications and strong company focus in building a desirable place to work.
“In a very short time, we received another independent confirmation that our commitment to constantly improving working conditions and, in general, the satisfaction of our employees, is yielding results. It’s even more important for us that through this certification process, this was confirmed by employees from different companies and from different markets on which the Fortenova Group operates. If our colleagues in all parts of the Group, regardless of whether they’re in stores, production, logistics or administration, recognise our strides in strengthening the quality of the working environment, then this is a great motivation for all of us to continue development activities in that area,” stated Fabris Peruško, the CEO of the gigantic Fortenova Group.
Gordana Fabris, Executive Director of Human Resources of the Fortenova Group, also expressed her pride that the company received the Best Places to Work certificate. “We’re especially proud of the fact that 22 of our companies from five different countries participated in the certification process, and more than 2,200 employees were surveyed over the past few months. The results showed that we’re among the best employers in the region. I’d like to thank everyone once again for their participation in the certification process, because together we make the Fortenova Group a stronger and better company,” she said on the occasion of the awarding of the certificate.
