More conferences and more congress related publicity for Dubrovnik as the fourth European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans is set to take place in the city this March.

The conference will take place at the four star Hotel Valamar Lacroma on the 29th and 30th of March 2017, another boost for the city following its recent achievements as a congress destination, the European Commission reports that the theme will be Intelligent Planning for Sustainable Mobility.

”The European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans is the principal annual event enabling an international community of practitioners, policy makers, city staff and academics from across Europe to come together to debate key issues, highlight developments in mobility planning and exchange ideas and experience” states Eltis.org, going on to talk about the level of importance overall quality of life holds to most cities, and how this isn’t only defined by an intact environment, ideal living conditions and attractive economic events but also by a supportive environment for individual mobility behaviour.

The conference is organised by CIVITAS PROSPERITY, a member of the European Platform on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans.

Participation is free of charge. Registration for the conference is now open and will remain so until the third of March, if you’d like to learn more about the draft agenda for the conference, click here.
