ZAGREB, March 30, 2018 – Industrial production in Croatia in February 2018 rose 3.3% in comparison to February 2017, thus ending a three-month declining streak.
According to statistics published by the national statistical office on Friday, industrial output in February grew by 2.2% from the previous month.
The 3.3% year-on-year increase in industrial production in February is the first after a three-month decline.
The production of durable consumer goods increased the most, by 10%, followed by the production of non-durable consumer goods, which went up 5.7%. The production of intermediary products grew 4.2% and that of energy 3%.
An annual production decline was registered only in the production of capital goods.
In the first two months of this year industrial output rose 1.5% in relation to same period of 2017.
Raiffeisenbank Austria (RBA) analysts expect industrial output to continue growing for the remainder of the year and the average annual output growth rate to be 2.5%.
