National airline Croatia Airlines marked its one millionth annual customer on Friday, the earliest time ever in the history of the carrier, 12 days sooner than last year
This year’s one millionth traveller is Suzana Brenko, a passenger on a flight from Dubrovnik to Zagreb, Tportal.hr reported on July 15, 2016. She was awarded two airline tickets to Croatia Airlines (CA) destinations of her choice by Boris Kolka, Director of Sales and Marketing of CA.
“This is a pleasant and lovely surprise. I often fly with CA and am very satisfied with their quality. The free tickets will probably be used to take may nephews somewhere to Europe, Paris or London,” Brenko said.
“This year’s result comes due to a positive trend in the business operation of CA and a wider network of destinations, as well as new routes to attractive cities, enabled after a successful restructuring,” Kolka said, reminding that in May of this year, CA connected Zagreb with direct flights to Lisbon, Milan, Prague and Saint Petersburg.
Croatia Airlines flights connect Croatia directly with 34 European destinations in 21 nations, from 8 Croatian airports. Kolka also said he expects the total number of passenger of CA during 2016 to be around 6% higher and reach the two million mark.
